Broulee the "village by the sea" is nestled between 2 surfing beaches separated by the isthmus to Broulee Island, which is dedicated as a nature reserve, to preserve its fauna, flora and the remnants of the original Broulee settlement. Broulee is also very close to a range of well known beaches including Barlings Beach, Malua Bay, Surf Beach with popular surfing spots such as Pink Rocks accessible from Broulee Island.
