The River of Art is a 10 day festival of live music, theatre, film, visual arts, literature, creative workshops and cultural experiences held along the picturesque NSW far south coast. This area, known as the Eurobodalla Shire, extends between Durras Lake in the north and Bermagui in the south.
With over 130 separate events, there’s plenty of inspiration for locals and visitors alike. You can pick up your copy of the festival program from any of the local Visitor Information Centres and participating shops and businesses in the Eurobodalla Shire, or download your copy here

Narooma Oyster Festival

Friday Night Fun
Fireworks, live music with 19-Twenty blues, folk and rock band and food stalls on Friday night.
The Narooma Oyster Festival celebrates South Coast NSW oysters and our region’s natural clean quality produce, chefs, and rich artistic and cultural talents.
Saturday – Oysters aplenty taste oysters & other culinary treats
- Sample from 5 different estuaries in our region
- Cooking demos & oyster shucking competition
Batemans Bay Paddle Challenge
Date: Saturday 6 May 2017 from 10am (Friday night 5 May from 4pm Check-In night with music, food and fire pits)
Location: Clyde River, vessels departing from north side of the bridge, Korners park.
Races:
• Open Marathon (26km)
• Open Masters Marathon 50+ (26km)
• Open Half Marathon (13km)
• Youth (8km)
Fun runs:
• Paddle Run for single or multi-person vessels (8km)
• Family Double Kayak Run (2km)
Spectators will enjoy music, food and on-shore activities at Korners Park.
